Default code p0401: insufficient EGR flow

My truck has been throwing this code ever since I installed the edge evolution programmer. I replaced the egr tube, hoses, valve, and the dpfe switch and it still throws a code. Does anyone know why?

Pull the upper intake off and where the egr bolts there is probly build up may even be pluged all the way thru. Replaced all the same things on my truck to find out it was carbon build up behind the egr once it was cleaned up all was fine. Has that programer made any changes you have noticed? Is it worth buying?

I took the throttle body off and it was clogged to hell and back. I got it unclogged but I didn't get all the build up off so I guess its still restricted. What did you use to clean it out? And I love the programmer! Its definitely an investment worth making. I have a cold air intake with it and it made a huge difference. Mad tunes said they could program it for me and I would get even more performance out of it for 200 bucks.

I used amsoil foaming intake cleaner it made look new inside. I spent about an hour cleaning it up. I would pull it all off again being its not an all day deal and clean it with a good solavent. I have been kickin around the idea of a programer. I have a cold air intake and headers on it.

I took the throttle body off and those ports were clogged again! I got every last piece of carbon build up off of it and it made the world of difference! Thanks for the help! A programmer would really make a difference on your truck. Especially if you got it proffesionaly tuned.
