I keep geting a "455" code on my Scan gauge, but can't find out what 455 is. HELP JB

p0455 is a large evap leak could be (bad gas cap , fuel fill line, gas tank it self, or carbon canister) most likely it will be the gas neck or cap when it is a large leak.

More of a question to all than an answer, can vacuum be applied to system to help verify leak or lack of?

check the fuel filler hose or neck.

yes if you have a good manual (factory) you can check some of the system.
