What's the best way to clear codes without at code reader??

Disconnect the battery for a bit.

After you disconnect the battery, pump the brakes a few times to purge the system of any juice left in it.

The bitch about that is it resets your radio and such. Just go to an auto parts store and have them reset it. I work at Valvoline and we reset them for free too.

I had to clear the check engine code. It didn't reset my radio the other day when I disconnected the neg battery terminal for 30 seconds. Pretty painless if you ask me
