Default Cleaned intake but............

Just wondering if I did a bobo......I was adding a K & N intake system so when I took the original off I decided to clean the intake with intake cleaner spray, it was purty carbonned up in there, everything was going fine, the black stuff was coming off good, but then I noticed a sticker on the intake hosing the said "WARNING, DO NOT CLEAN, SPECIAL COATING INSIDE INTAKE" Well a little late for that now???? So did I damage anything or have problems in the futur????

There's an anti-ice coating inside the throttlebody so it doesn't freeze up in the winter. You may have taken some of the coating off, but it's not a big deal. They make special throttlebody cleaner just for it for future reference.

My intake was ported and polished so the coating was long gone for years. No ill effects to report.
