Default Chugging problem, Please help

2000 f 150 4x4 5.4 I changed my fuel filter and when take off it chuggs then picks back up then at about half throttle at constant speed it also does it, any ideas?

mine did the same same, but it was the fact that i had 2 cylinders misfiring thanks to mudding, i'd just take it to the shop and let them take a look at it if i were you...

Start your truck and let idle. Then unplug each coil one at a time. When you unplug one listen and feel for a change in the way the engine runs. If you unplug one and there is no change that's prolly a dead coil. The springs that run from the cop(inside the boot) to the spark plug rust sometimes from excessive moisture and that's what ruins the coil.

So...all was good prior to the fuel filter change ?? Did you install it backwards ??
