Seems a pinch high to me, I think most will do it for around $60. I did it myself though for $40 in my driveway. Doesn't look great but not many people crawl under my truck to inspect the welds anyway haha

My son did it himself with a air grinder/cut-off wheel. He got a piece of straight pipe, a couple 45 deg. sweeps to make the required offset, and some clamps. Once he got everything slipped together I held the tailpipe in its proper location as he tightened the clamps. It came out pretty decent. I realize not everybody has the time, tools or location to do this so no shame in going to a shop, although $100 seems a bit much for this job. One of these days I'm going to take the truck to work with me where I can weld it, and eliminate the clamps.

I thought about doing it myself. That's a pretty good idea.

if you dont have an air grinder or cut off wheel, a sawzall works well too (that's what I've used for exhaust work)

yeah it'll cut it, lots of people use them but me personally I feel like it will be awkward cause you'll have to get the cut all the way around the pipe instead of just straight through it with a sawzall

That's kinda what I was thinking.
Now to price out piping and clamps.

don't cheap out on clamps. You need the band clamps to get a solid seal. None of that auto zone standard clamp crap

Got everything done. It was surprisingly quiet. Sounds better than expected. I was skeptical. Thanks for the advice guys.
