Default chirps and squeals

2002 F150, when in drive, I can hear some chirping coming from my rear wheel area, and when I tap the brakes it stops momentarily. Kind of just the opposite of the squealing you get when your brake pads are worn down. When in reverse, its more of a whining squeal. Waiting for a buddy of mine to take a look at it, any ideas from anyone here?

Have you gone off roading lately?

Mine does that when dirt pebbles get wedged between the pads and the rotor, I just take off the tire, knock off whatever loose dirt I can get, and hose the rest off.
