Default Chirp at WOT 1-2 Shift

Hello, all. Just bought my first F150 and joined the site. Glad to be here.

I've noticed a "chirp" at WOT 1-2 shifts on my '03 5.4L. Kinda sounds like a very brief belt squeal. Replaced the belt to no avail.

Anyone else experience this or know what it is?

Just about everybody with a 97-03 F150. Common noise, no worries.

You should hear it with a programmer and the shift points all jacked up. It really lets out a howl.

Hmm I've never heard it. But straight pipes and mud terrains probably don't help

... why does that honestly stop the belt slippage causing the screech?
