check engine light ???
OK, my light comes on when my fuel tank is a needles width below 1/4 of a tank of gas. it has done it twice now. both at the exact same spot.
I have done the gotts mod and the silencer mod. the code that comes up is both left and right banks running lean. normally I believe that this would be the MAF sensor. after the first time I completely cleaned it and the throttle body and the tubing. and it has happend again.
If I fill up before it gets to a 1/4 of a tank of fuel the light does not come on. The only other thing is that a while before I did the gotts mod and the silencer mod I had a check engine light for Secondary Emissions System which I was told by Autozone was usually the gas cap.
Soooooo, is all this problems still my gas cap or what else should I look for. the truck has 131K on it and I bought it with 120K so I'm not sure of the maintainence before that point. Any help would be appreciated!!
