Man, this forum has been pummeled with stupidity lately. It's heavy.

A few questions:
1) Why not mount the horn(s) inside the frame rail? Less possibility of damage, and it/they won't be subjected to spash from the front tires. (Are they at least tilted downward somewhat for drainage?)
2) What is that piece running under the lights above the rear window? It looks a lot like the front "hinge" for my Extang Full-Tilt bed cover. And I assume the lights to either side are brake/turn lights?
3) Those floods will come on any time you put it in reverse? I think I'd want them lit only if I actually needed them. I wouldn't want to subject people in parking lots, etc. to them, but that's just me.

P.S. How old is that JCP CB?
..
..
1) I probably should do that. I think I put it on the outside because there were less obstructions, but it probably would be safer inside the frame rail. Yep, tilted down a tad. Haven't had any water issues yet.
2) I think that's just the rain guard and hinge for the rear hatch on the cap. The slim line lights are Red Stop/Turn/Tails with a clear lens. They're nice to have and good quality!
3) The floods (and any other floods on the truck) only come on with buttons on my keyfob. They're running to my microcontroller and aren't connected to the reverse signal at all. They make good work lights too.

Edit: The CB is VERY old. I am 23, and I remember having it in our family's Aerostar van on roadtrips when I was young.

Roof rack was cheap and easy. From a first gen Explorer. Chopped the tracks down and added some length to the cross members. $30ish for everything needed.

Default Paint the valve covers

For the oval I filled it, sanded, and masked it off before shooting the red
