That's the main reason I don't like the springs. You can't not smack uca bump stop. I have maybe a finger width with the truck on the ground. Rough country says to cut the stop off the uca to give a bit more travel and I didn't. I have contemplated cutting it.
There is a company that makes some for our gens that have better bends to clear the frame and allow for more travel. If you want I can try and dig their info back up.

Ok the guys I found before don't have them listed on their website anymore but I am pretty sure they would fab a set. They are called Total Chaos Fabrication. They aren't cheap but I can almost guarantee you will never need to replace them.

you can buy the led strips at auto zone for about 40 bucks, i bought some for my 02 f150 and you can choose which color you want or you can buy the one where it comes with a switch and a color dial so you can change the colors. i normally stay with the blue though, when you press the button on the switch, you can make the lights blink, fade in and out or shine
