I had my mechanic change my spark plugs a while ago and now I have a bad coil. How hard is it to change them?

 

Your 01 should have COP (coil on plugs) not coil packs. They are just held on by a 7 mm bolt and will pull out. This thread will show the COPs, also did your mechanic torque the plugs to the new 28ft/lbs and not the lower old number?
