When you mount the cb on the side of the shifter, insure you can still use it without hitting the cb. My finger barely hits my cb when I use my 4wd shifter.

You can run the CB power from the fuse box, but it is better to run it direct to the battery. Keeps from getting as much interference from the vehicles electronics. Also, when you're running the COAX from the antenna, if the cable is too long don't coil it up, try your best to run the cable in a way that keeps it from crossing over itself. Helps you get a better range from the antenna and a clearer signal.

thanks for the info did not know that about the cables.

Hopefully i can get it done sometime this week it keeps raining.
And for the lights it will have to wait i need to replace some coil packs on my truck. Also found a diablosport tuner for 245, used once, well twice once to tune once to set back to stock with everything, i may buy.

In my truck I ran it into the cigarette lighter with an adaptor and I get less interference then when I ran it straight to my battery. What kind of cb do you have?

thanx. what dose the dynamic on them do exactly. never really used one before just installed it so i could talk to my dad when we go to utah to wheel to the place where my dad and granpa used to hunt so we could spread my granpas' ashes but, it got pushed back indefinatly. kinda dissapointed never done any major wheeling before, when i was the one driving, nor for a long time.
