I have two 4ft whips mounted to the front of the toolbox. I love how they look, i dont have any pics though srry

I've got two 4 foot Firestik fiberglass antennas on mine. btw guys... only whips, are called whips. The rest are just antennas, usually fiberglass.




This...is a whip antenna(back in the day, when I thought it was cool)




I also later put a spring on the antennas so I don't snap them in half

Yea i know haha, i just get tired of any antenna now being called a whip. But it really don't matter, just needed that little vent lol

Now as far as what all you need it to work...honestly just the radio, antenna and a coax cable to connect. If you do want to put 2 antennas, don't run 2 coax cables and splitter to the radio. It will cut the overall antenna...power, for lack of a better term limiting performance overall

So if I have two 3 foot antennas I should only wire up one?
