Default Catalectic converter

I am going to have to replace my catalectic converter on my03 super crew. I have couple questions. Which brand should I Go with? Andwhat should it cost me to get this replaced?

I’ve been told I’ll need to toke it to a muffler shop andhave them do it.

You have 4 cats. If you're going to remove them all, go with 2 magna flow high flow cats. If only 1 is bad, go with OEM.

How do you know if only one is bad?

Don't want to sound stupid but if there is 4 of then then how can I only replace with two. Second of all is this something I can replace on my own or does it need to be done buy a Muffler shop?

Your truck will be sluggish and you will smell eggs also lose gas mileage

Yes i'm experience all that. Now is the only way to determine which one it is is by going to repairshop and pay them to diagnose which one it is?

You would need to replace 2 of them with pipe and install 2 high flows. That's how most people replace them. The cost for high flows is not cheap.

Unless you have a pipe bender and are a great welder, bringing it in is suggested. They can diagnose which one is bad if you want to go with OEM.

Another way to tell is to look under the truck after driving for awhile at night. The bad cat may glow red.
