i almost found one! there was a listing for a free cap on craigslist for a 99 f150.. drove out there to find out his truck is a 95 or older! it was a little too wide (not by much but enough that i didnt want it) and it didnt conform to the slope at the front of the bed..

im surprised noone has one sittin around on here that they dont want anymore

i cant believe it.. i found one.. not far from home on a dirt road a guy had it out for $150.. not sure how long he had it sittin there, but i got paid today and drove out to make him an offer and noticed he changed the sign from $150 to FREE!!!!

so i was sure to turn the FREE sign over and write thank you!

now, any suggestions on how to get the rear window back into shape?

nice find, no clue about the window sorry, it looks like you'd be better off trying to replace it.

yea.. probably.. it would be worth the investment.. i did hammer one of the hinges which allows it to latch on one side, so that will minimize the flopping in the wind.. not sure where i could find a replacement window and frame

when i had ought my cap one of the side windows was busted out. i checked online for the manufacturer, then looked for a local dealer list. ordered the window through the dealer & was good to go. they wanted an extra $50 to install the window. but all you had to do was unscrew the "frame" out and then put the new one in.

btw, good find!
