Hello I purchased a Viper 5501 off ebay and attempted to do the install myself. I got everything installed. And the truck will remote start perfectly. The only problem I am having is with the keyless entry part. I have the 5 wire type c door locks. I purchased two relays from Napa and hooked everything up like the diagram I found online. My switches on the doors will unlock and lock the doors just fine. But when I press lock or unlock on the remote nothing happens. I have sent the brain back once and they sent me a new one but it still doesnt work. Which leads me to believe Im doing something wrong or they just sent me back the same broken one. So maybe you guys can help me? Also I tapped into the lock and unlock wires in the passenger door panel.

no but i talked to my dads buddy at ford and he said thats about the worst idea you can do becasue once u go cutting wires, it may never work right even if its wired good
