I have searched high and low for camper top storage rack information.

This is what I'm needing. I don't have a garage yet so I need to build a rack outside to store my camper top on. My camper is a Leer top made for the 6.5' short bed. I would like to know where I can find plans for building a rack, I would really like one I could make wide enough for my truck to fit in between the sides, raise my camper up, and the slide supports under it and drive away.

if it were me i would go outside take down some measurements and buy some metal to build one you could build it how you want it and would be alot cheaper than if you found one online...just my $0.02

I'm not wanting to buy one, I want to build it. I'd have to build it with lumber though, I don't have the tools to do metal work. I just can't find any kind of diagrams or plans for one to go off of.

I bought about $50 worth of metal to build my canoe/ladder rack. A local fabricator quoted $60 to weld it.

Take some dims and send them to me. I can make you some Autocad fabrication drawings if you want. We built one for my dad's topper a few years back that went into the corner of his barn. But his was basically just a big shelf, just backed up to it and slid the camper on/off.
