anyone have anywrite up's on it? is it just unbolt and bolt the new one on? or is there anytiming i have to do? like put it top dead center?..thanks

on the 5.4's is just an eddy current sensor, so just take out the 1 bolt, unplug it, slide it out and put the new one in. takes 1 minute per side, its the sensor on the front of the head.

not sure if its the same with the v6 but should be

yeah i was told 4 different things from my friends,but i just wanna double check before i pull it off and then be stuck home.

regardless of the sensor it shouldn't matter. typically either a hall effect or eddy current, they are not mechanically driven and should have a locating pin if placement is crucial.
