I'm getting ready to change timing chains, pensioners, oil pump ,etc. I'm too cheap to buy the cam lock, looks easy enough to make, I just need to know the diameter of the cam where it clamps to. I haven't taken my valve covers off yet. I would like to make them before I get started. I can make them at work & want to get it done and on the road this weekend. It's a 2000 F150 with a 4.6 Triton Ford calls this a "Cam Positioning Tool".
