What's going on guys. One of my buddy's just gave me a cold air intake a few days ago. The intake came off a honda civic. I was wondering, if I were to open my air box, take my regular filter out, and mount just the cold air intake filter where my original filter was, will it harm anything? It's basically gunna be set up the way it normally is, just a cold air filter.

 

Also, with it being closed in the air box, is that good?

 

You already have a CAI with the stock intake. Adding a poor filtering filter and possibly changing the MAF won't be good. Leave the other intake for a car and do the Gotts mod.
