Lightbulb CAI opinions

i am looking into getting a cold air intake. i know i could do the gots mod cheaper but its still a bitch to check and clean the filter. so i am searching the web and found some interesting thinks. i looked at the green filter because it was different. K&N 77 series because it would look good under the hood. K&N FIPK because of performance. i read the 77 series makes 9.38 hp and FIPK makes 13.12 hp. Now any other time i would say bull **** until i saw these dyno sheets.

K&N 77 http://www.knfilters.com/dynocharts/77-2514_dyno.pdf

K&N FIPK http://www.knfilters.com/dynocharts/57-2541_dyno.pdf

what do yall think???

I have the 57 series intake and it has been great so far. they reason u get more hp out of the plastic tube vs metal tube is because the metal tube conducts heat and it holds onto it a lot longer.

i could definatly feel a little extra hp but 4 hp difference between 57 series and 77 series isnt that much. i went with the 57 series because it is street legal in california, where i live. it was a really simple install. that sounds like a good price, i work for a dealership and one of r suppliers sells the k&n filters so i got it for just under 200
