Cabin Air Filter Kit
Evening y’all,
Some time back I decided to install the optional cabin air filter in my truck. Though air flow did reduce a little, I no longer have large amounts of gravel road dust coming in my vents. My only issue is at the time I used ducting tape to seal the hole as I didn’t have the cover kit on hand. Since then I have searched every F150 and Expedition in all my local junkyards, as well as called several Ford and truck specific ones about 2 hours away. I also have been checking eBay pretty constantly and have had no luck at all. I know the kit is discontinued, had a buddy who works for Ford verify there isn’t anymore in the dealer network. Does anyone have a lead on these? A NOS kit their dad has, a used set sitting in their garage, wrecking yard, or wherever you find one? I’ll happily pay a fair price for it, I just really want one of those kits. Thanks y’all, I’ll include the most current part #’s just incase.

It’s really not even a big deal. It just prettied up the area around the slot for you.
My filter fits snug without tape.
I’m sure Ford stopped making these pretty early in the 10G run because sales (and lack of pub) gave them that out. Never have seen a mention of one in any 10G model sales brochure I have seen on the web, either.

I know they were available into the early 2000's, since I've found posts in the SVT forum and other pages from 06' to around 09' but not much after that. I know its a super rare part but I'll keep looking until I find it.
