Default A/C working intermittent

My 2003 F150 Supercrew's a/c works one day and not the next. When it does work it's not coming out all that cold and the MAX a/c doesn't work at all. The system R134 is full or so I was told but the a/c specialist. Last year I had the same problem but had the climate control unit rebuilt and that solved it. Does anyone have a sysematic list to locate the problem?

Check all your connection on the compressor and related items under the hood, all the connections under the dash and fuses and relays for looseness or corrosion.

I have ran into the same problem with mine. I have traced mine down to the orifice tube is clogged or getting clogged. I was told pull it and depending if it was all oily and had plastic pieces all over it was the compressor. If is was cover is sand like material it was the dryer. In either case you should flush the system and replace both of them. Good luck!
