I have a 2002 F150 with a 4.6L V8.
My A/C was working great, but one day it just wouldn't cool at all. I was wondering if this was an electrical problem such as a fuse or relay? Note that the blower works fine, just no cold air. I noticed that when I turn the A/C on the compressor doesn't seem to engage.

So I got a can of R134 from walmart, the compressor is cycling on and off at idle, but haven't gotten any cool air yet. I'm wondering if there is any cycling that needs to be done and what pressure the A/c needs to be at.
STOP!! ac systems only take a small amount of freon you probably have a leak DO NOT INJECT ANY FREON INTO THE SYSTEM if you put too much freon in the system will fail and compressor will seize bring it to a shop and see what they say you shouldn't be messing with ac unless you completely understand the system there is a high an low side to the system if you overload it and inject into the wrong side your asking for trouble
A sears can do it if they have an ASE certified ac technician otherwise dealership if you seize the compressor your looking at big ticket parts to fix it

There are many parts to it I suggest bringing it there so they can inject a dye and see exactly where it's leaking so the correct steps can e taken to ensure the ac works correctly and as designed
