could i try sea-foaming my truck and see'ing where is smokes from inside the engine bay?? or is there a smoke test i can do myself?

I don't think sea-foaming would show you the leak (because a vacuum leak is sucking) and there really isn't any smoke test that you could really do either (unless you have the machine, which costs $1,000's lol). You have to try to listen for any hissing, and try wiggling on all vacuum lines to see if you hear a hiss (while the truck is idling).

If you can't find any vacuum hoses leaking, then it could be your intake manifold gaskets leaking, there is actually a Ford TSB (technical service bulletin) on the issue, I forget off the top of my head which engines/years it affects but leaking intake gaskets are a common problem as well.

If you want, you can try cleaning the mass air flow sensor with the spray they sell at autozone/pepboys and clear the codes to see if they come back. I'd recommend disconnecting the battery for 15-20 minutes to reset the fuel maps as well (Ford says that just unhooking the battery for less time then that, or just clearing the codes with a code reader, won't reset the fuel maps, you have to unhook it for 15-20 minutes).
