A/C Compressor Coil gone bad
over the weekend i had my uncle (certified ford mechanic, worked for ford many years) take a look at my a/c compressor, as it would not kick in. after we ran several diagnostics we came to the conclusion that the problem lie in a bad compressor coil.
he told me he has worked on thousands of a/c units, and this is only the second time that he has seen a bad coil. so, i think im gonna go to the scrapyard and see if i cant rip a compressor out of a junker... then i have to figure out how to get it installed cause it currently has a full freon charge

I think you would be best off taking it to a professional. An AC system is something you can easily dump a bunch of money into,never fix the problem, and in the end ruining other things that will cost you even more money.
Do yourself a favor and take it to somebody that specializes AC repair only. thumbsup:
