01 f150 crew cab...Is there any way to either turn off the door buzzer or disconnect it so it doesn't buzz when you open the door?

 

I did it by accident on my 97. Pop off the plastic piece where you insert your key. There's a plastic clip that holds the wire to the ignition. Remove that, tape it up, and the noise is gone. That's how it worked for me anyway.
