Default Buying 01 F-150 Need Advice Plz

hello all,
I am looking at this truck here in Alaska where they r kinda expensive compared to lower 48, but its a 2001 F-150 ,4x4, SuperCrew, Lariat package, 5.4L motor, with only 59k miles on it and he was asking 15k but he wont go lower than 14k maybe 13.5K, it is as clean as it can get for this year, what do u guys think is it a good buy or expensive, the only thing which is attracting me is that it have 59K miles on it and I love this burgundy color with it being 4 door roomy, but I don't know if I am gonna be paying too much for it, I know these 97 - 03 years very well now and can work on them myself but on the other hand the price thing makes me think that a cpl grands more can buy me a new style 5.4 3v F150 around 100k miles or over, I am really confused and need an advice plz, plz let me know why should I buy this one and not the newer style or why should I not buy this one and look for the newer styles, Thank you all for your time and I wud really appreciate your advices,
Thank you again

No advice yet lol, just to add I currently have a 99f150 supercab, 5.4 with 180k miles so I have to sell it then, was wondering since I have to rebuild engine, transmission and other parts in this truck maybe in the next 20000 miles, which is gonna be almost around 8k to 10k why not look for a low mileage truck, am I right?

I'm not familiar with the Alaskan market but it seems pretty high. Sure low miles are great and worth a little extra but in my opinions I wouldn't want to pay more than 1-2k for low miles because frankly these trucks are pretty tough. I bought my 02 screw lariat rear wheel drive in great shape with 130k ( has some lower door rust on one door) for 5500. Btw I'm in ohio.

That's pretty high probably even for Alaska shop around and see what trucks of that year are going for. That will give you a idea if its a deal or not

13000 is all I would pay its a old truck with low mileage but anything could happen as soon as you take it home.

You think 13k is a better deal for it, should I offer 13k?
