I could peel out in my 1988 Toyota with a 2.4L V4. Of course that's when I was young and dumb and...

I didn't realize it served zero purpose in life.

Not unless you want to damage your truck/engine/driveline- or hasten its demise- first off these are truck motors, engineered ( cammed, timed, etc) to be a truck motor not a race car- your truck weighs around 5,000 lbs.- ( not a lightweight), its geared for working applications, not race day- second its just damned irresponsible! If you want to show boat for your girlfriend or buddies, go get straight A’s in school, get a good paying job, and when you become successful, go buy a race prepped car, go to a racing venue and knock yourself out in a safe/ controlled environment.

Just heard on the radio this morning that someone tried to do a burnout just outside my town. They ended up in the ditch upside down and both occupants are in the hospital. Imagine if some one was coming the other way.

ok guys not asking about safety and whether i should peel out my tires. I am Not asking for your permission here! I want to know with my specs is my 5.4l 8 cylinder engine with 265 70 17 tires, auto trans, and 3.55 diff do i have the power to peel out? I have a friend with 373 diff same engine but with 285 tires and crew cab and he can peel out.

i want to know if perhaps i have an isssue getting power to the wheels?? Maybe something wrong with trans? Maybe 3.55 i can’t with weight of super crew? Maybe I’ve lost power in engine?

Get a little reverse motion going then slap it into low and jam the gas pedal.
