I bought a new bumper and it would be easy to get old one off if I could get that peace at the top off, it's usually the same color as your truck, any1 know how to get off I don't wana force it haha

 

Use a set of needle nosed pliers on the inserted plastic pieces to release the upper part. It just pops back into the new bumper. You have to make sure the clips are released to be sure you don't break the pad itself. Good luck.

 

How do I get to these clips?

 

If i remember right i think there are 6, or 8 hex head screws at the top back of the bumper, pretty sure its six. Once those are out then you just pull it forward and out of the clips at the front of the bumper. You then drop the bumper off the truck and turn it upside down is the easiest way. You'll see all the mounting tabs that way. Good luck.
