Default Broken Brakes

Hi there. I was driving down Dallas North Tollway the other day and my brake pedal went to the floor. I managed to get my truck home, and after some inspection I found the problem. The piece of brake line that connects to the caliper was broken. I replaced that piece of the line. I replaced the brake fluid and bled the brakes. However, my brake pedal still goes all the way to the floor and BARELY stops the truck, and if I slam on them the truck doesn't stop at all. I'm not sure if it is a brake booster problem or if there is still air in the master cylinder. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm fairly handy. I cannot figure out how to fix this. Does anyone have any ideas? 98 F150 4x4 5.4L disk in the front, drums in the back. Thanks in advance!

If you have air in your brake lines you must bleed it all out. That means bleeding all 4 wheels if you have no pedal. Think about what happened.....You had a brake line rupture. Everytime you used the pedal after that you sucked air into the system. Bleed all 4 wheels until you no longer have air coming out. I use a tube on the bleeder fitting going into a jar of brake fluid so I can see air coming out. When you have all the air out you will have brakes. Don't blame the master cylinder unless you have bled all the air first. Make sure you top off the reservoir after each wheel while you are bleeding the brakes or you run the risk of introducing more air into the lines if it runs dry.
