Thanks you all for the suggestions. I’m going to get going on it this weekend and see what I can unearth.

Finally able to get under the old girl today.
After checking several areas areas and just before I was going to start bleeding the brakes, I decided to remove both rear wheels and double check the drum brakes that had just been rebuilt.
Low and behold the drum brakes needed to be adjusted via the star wheel. A little annoyed that this wasn’t done when the rear brakes were serviced and wheel cylinders replaced.
Either way way lessons learned. Pedal is back to normal and feels as it should.

It's a good idea to get them adjusted close after a shoe replacement to avoid problems. Followed by the reverse brake slam procedure, sets them perfectly. Yea without that, could have some problems.
