got a 97 f150 4x4 with front disc, rear drum. my brakes work fine and all but not as good as they could be. the pedal does not have full pressure behind it and is squishy, i have to push the pedal almost half way down until they kick in. dont know how i could fix this, bleed lines?

 

could try bleeding the lines, there maybe some air in the lines. otherwise check the brake linings both front and rear.
