Default Brake trouble

So I replaced the heater core last week in my 98. I figured that was punishment enough but I was wrong. Somewhere in my nightmare of reassembly I missed a plug of some sort. My truck can now be shifted out of park without the brake pedal being pressed. I am looking at the column right now and what i think is the shift interlock solenoid is plugged in. It is on the left side of the column and is a brass colored cylinder with a black cap on the downward end with a wire coming off it.

So my question is what else could be causing my problem?
