Brake shield thing
I see some truck that you can see the front rotors and I checked mine and noticed there's like a cover
I like the look where you can see it
Does that shield play a huge role? Is it safe with out it?

that shield is to help keep debris away from the rotor surface. not a good idea to remove it.
