Default Brake Question

Hey eveyone. I am new to the forum. I live in the Vegas area and drive a black '99 f-150. I know this isn't were you do introduction's but I do have a question for you guys. I replaced my front rotors and pads in Feb. but didn't do any services on the rear drums. Now 6 months later my front driver side pad is worn and need to be replaced. I did just get my alignment 1 month ago cause it was severly pulling to te left. I was wondering if I just change the pads again if it will keep wearing out my pads every 6 month. If so what should I have done to my brakes.

Obviously, this is a guess, but it sounds like possibly the caliper piston isn't fully "releasing" (dragging) after application. Were the old pads worn differently also?
