My brakes are operating well. But recently the pedal isn't returning completely and if I forget to pull it up a hair when I get out the brake lights stay on.
We are talking a tiny fraction of an inch movement to return fully.
Is this something a little white lithium on the pedal shaft is going to fix?
I haven't really looked at it yet. Just seeing if you guys have had this problem.

 

Is your brake fluid good? The level I mean?

 

If not it sounds like the master cylinder is going out.
