Default Brake pads

so this weekend I'm planning on changing my brake pads. First time...poppin my cherry haha Anyways, I've already watched a bunch of videos and read some threads, but just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or tricks or any problems anyone has run into. Thanks any input would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your master cylinder cap is off when you compress the caliper pistons, if the master is full right now you'll need to suction some of it out, a cheap turkey baster works great.

Make sure it stays in the garage when you get done.

To compress the piston use the old pad and a c-clamp.

Yeah that's what I have read and seen. And after u compress it, the piston stays compressed on it's own? Sorry kind of a noob at brakes

And of course remember to pump the brakes several times after you have it all back together.

I know it stays compressed enough to put the new pads in and get it back together
