Brake issue confusing
2001 f 150 lariat 4.6 motor 4x4 4 wheel disc brakes
I notced rust on my rear brake discs, replaced caliper and cannot bleed them. I used a vacuum pump and checked the lines all the way to the box under the master cylinder that has 5 lines entering it.hydraulic control unit??
Anyway, I have clear lines but cannot get fluid pressure to the rear brakes. Wondering if its the box or maybe master cylinder? I'm very confused and the brake warning light is not on and would think/hope if the HCU box were faulty it would throw a code..or??. This HCU box is really expensive.
Front brakes work fine though. Rear of truck has a bounce when I brake as well.
Any help is greatly...greatly appreciated.

Have you figured it out?
I would check inch by inch to make sure you do not have a pinched line anywhere. Im guessing this truck does not have a proportioning valve. If not it is most likely the HCU. You could try getting one at a junk yard. I see those HCUs everywhere there.
