Default Brake help

my truck sat for a year or so, do you think I could just have the rotors ground down a bit would I need all new ones? Also, before I let it sit I would have to push the brake pedal pretty far down to stop. Could that be the brake lines?

Not sure depend on how bad they are and for the second question maybe just air in the lines or a leak in the master cylinder or brake lines

not much info ther Joe, how many miles, service history before you parked it, why did you park it. If it were me and I just bought that truck off of you and it had been sitting for a year or so, here's what I would do.
1. Drain/clean out fuel tank.
2. New plugs.
3. front and rear brake job-rebuild/replace master and calipers/cylinders
4. New tires.
5. Inspect belts/hoses-replace as nesc w/new antifreeze.
6. check/repair oil leaks.
7. New battery.
That should keep you busy for awhile, but when you go for a ride you will be comforable it won't leave you stranded.

I bought it off a friend and he said the brakes were fairly new when I bought it and that was about 6 months prior to it sitting.
It sat because I had to move away and couldn't bring it.
The truck has around 84k on it
