New to the forum, sorry if this is a repeat thread...

I have an '02 F150 I bought used. There is a hitch with both 7-wire and 4-wire connections on the rear but I suspect that it is not factory installed. I am wanting to add a brake controller, but I'm a total noob and I am not sure what all those wires are that are under the dash.

I tried to take a couple of pictures to show what is there:





I know these are crappy pictures, but can anyone make out what is there? Or are my pictures even close to showing what I need to connect to?

And now I just watched a video that I believe shows a connector that I have in my truck. Sorry folks.

 

yes i believe there is an open connector for the trailer brake controller.
