Default Brake booster

Hi,

New member, I have visisted this site many times and have received a wealth of info, Thank you. I read an old thread about Brake Booster adj. if you have spongey brakes, I adj. the booster this morning and WOW what a differance no more spongey pedal. I went for a long test drive and everything seems to be fine no drag or hot calipers. Braking is about 50 percent better. All this comes after brake pads and rotars all a round, after replacing all pads and rotars, pedal was still spongey. Made the Booster adj. and no more spongey pedal. Oh by the way my truck is a 1999 F-150 ext. cab 4x4.

Thank you

this post might to be to old to get a response but i'll try anyways, due to similar problems.
what adjustments did you do to the booster?
i thought you can only replace it.

i got a 92 F150 351W, and the booster doesnt 'hiss' when someone steps on the pedal for me, although i do hear the pedal pressure noise but i thought that was normal.

the pedal is intermittent but gittin spongier. sometimes firm, some times to the floor.

no need for coffee anymore, drivin this truck right now.......
its quite an adrenaline rush.
