Default bolt pattern

Hi Guys,

Just bought a '98 black flareside 4 x 4, 5.4, and I love it !
A couple of issues however. It is missing the spare, I know
for this year the bolt pattern is 5 X 135. I am having a hard
time finding a spare anywhere. There are some on Craigslist
for an '04, can someone tell me if they will fit ? Have checked
all of the local junkyards.....
Also, the PO said he was trying to be a good samaritan and
pull someone out of a ditch, instead of using the Reese hitch,
he used the ball on the rear bumper, and tweeked it, said he didn't
know what he was thinking.... Having a hard time locating one
of those as well, being a flareside and all, anyone else have
this problem, and just fab one up? If so, I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance, best forum for F-150's on the web !!!
Dave

As for the rim, unless its an 04 heritage edition, the answer is no. In 'o4 they switched to a 6x135 bolt pattern.

Not sure about the bumper, its pretty hard to find a flare-side anything.

I have a spare rim and tire that I will not use because I have 35's on my truck so If you would like it I will sell it to you. What is your location? I have a flare side and when I was looking for a new front bumper I came across a factory rear bumper for the flare side. Just trying to remember where I saw it.

Thanks Carbon,
I'm in S.E. Iowa, and if I don't locate a wheel soon, I
would be interested.

Ok, well feel free to PM me. Check any of your local salvage yards. They should have a spare somewhere.
