Body lift or suspension
So I got a 2001 4x4 screw and can't decide on the lift I want. I want a 4-5 inch rough country suspension lift with 35s. but I was talking to my old man about it and he insists I should get a 3 inch body lift and how much better is. Mostly says because it doesn't change your suspension/CV angles and how bad it is on your truck? Any truth behind this? And are body lifts really so perfect?
Forgot to mention, I will be using it as a daily driver but mud on the weekends

Added a couple things in the OP, I wanted the rough country lift thats more like 5 and I would like the real clearance to get some of my essential parts out of the mud

I've got the 3" body lift on my ext. cab F150 and clear 35s no problem. Im running 315/75/16 right now. The lift was very reasonable and the truck still rides great like its stock. check out my pics for an idea

I'm afraid of heights, so I'll leave mine stock! Lol! Some nice lifted Fords in my area! To be fair, I'm biased. I think all Fords rule!

If your on a tight budget then a body lift would be just fine and look pretty good. For a few hundred bucks more you can get the 5" RCX suspension lift. Install time is probably about the same either way you go. The suspension lift doesn't change your CV angles, since it drops the entire differential 5". I put that lift on my truck a few weeks ago, and the CV's are almost perectly level. I prefer the look and extra clearance of the suspension lift and 35's, but have seen (and had) some nice rigs with body lifts too.
