Default Body help

Hey guys I am new here and am in need of some help. I hope someone here can help me out. I don't have a ton of info to go off of so please don't be to harsh. I am searching for a body for a 1998 ford F 150 it is not my truck but of a family member. They are in desperate need of a complete body. I just have no idea where to find it. I have tried to search but I am having no luck. Which is why I came here. Is there anyone can point me in a direction or something to go in?
thanks to all that has taken the time to read this.

I'm going to guess that your best way to get a whole body is to buy a whole vehicle that is not running.
scrap value.

The thing about bodies is... Most of us want the panels to match colors. Unless you find a unicorn 25 year old truck with perfect body that's being sold for scrap....... You'll spend way more in body work and paint to make it look decent than you will on the body or donor vehicle itself.

How can somebody be in desperate need of a vehicle body?

Typically you're talking about a project vehicle, a labor of love when you start talking about swapping bodies. It doesn't fall into the economically sensible thing to do. Particularly on a 25-year-old truck. Most people cut their losses and send it to the scrap yard at that point. It certainly not something you pay someone else to do typically...... Not unless you got deep pockets

Changing a cab is not a huge job. You don’t mention your location but if you’re within reasonable distance of NC just message me and we’ll talk. I have a running/driving 98 5.4L 4x2 cab and chassis I’ve been saving for spare parts but I’m preparing for a move and may not be able to take it with me. No title as the previous owner died years before I acquired it.
