gauge cluster - take the necessary dash pieces off, remove the cluster, remove the clear front cover, then pull the needles off. you have to use a knife or something to pry the black front piece off. it will be superglued back on. then used rubbing alcohol and a cue tip to remove the green tint on the back of it, this takes forever and it feels hopeless at first but itl start to come off.. then replaced 6 twist lock bulbs on the back with 6 T5 wedge 3-SMD LED bulbs. also, dont forget to remove the [P R N D 2 1] part and remove the green color from the back in the same way. when you reinstall your needles, they will be off. remember where they are normally, and let the truck warm up and then put them in the correct places. i used a gps with a speedometer to make sure my speed was accurate.

a/c control - take surrounding dash piece off, take the unit out, disassemble it, remove the piece of clear green plastic out, replaced the two twist lock bulbs with T10 wedge 4-SMD LED's. also, pop the clear plastic deals out of the *****, and use a knife to shave the green off them.

window/lock switches - remove and disassemble units, and on the circuit boards there is a total of 5 green smd led's. use a soldering iron to remove them and then solder on smd-led in the color of your choice.

headlight switch - hardest thing, aside from cruise control which i backed out on. to disassemble you have to break it the front cover off. theres a twist lock base with a non-replaceable bulb. i cut the bulb off, took out its wires, and soldered a regular blue led in place on the twist lock base. and you have to wire in a resistor with it. i cant remember how exactly to get the switch out of the dash, but there is a way, and a few write ups describing it.

thats how i did it, or pretty close anyways. definitely not the only way, but it seemed the easiest to me. if you want me to go more into detail on a part just ask.

- also, i bought all my led's off ebay. i bought a few different kinds to try, but the bulbs with SMD leds mounted in multiple directions were by far my favorite. i liked the color a lot better, they were brighter, and no hotspots.
