Unhappy

I had the same thing happen to mine in 2020 while driving into work in downtown Austin. Had to tow it home which cost >$200.

Don’t know why some say there’s no problem, Ford even put out a TSB about it (TSB 07-15-2 - I found it after mine blew).

We used: CalVan Tools 38900 Two Valve Ford Triton Tool Kit - Foolproof Repair System, Spark Plug Thread Repair Kit. Tools and Equipment https://a.co/d/315nhRN to fix it.

That was 12,640 miles ago - my 2002 5.4 4x4 King Ranch just hit 200K.

Never had that problem w/mine. Purchased new in 98 @ 374,000 now. All I did different is torque them down correctly. It's only the people who fail to research a vehicle before purchasing that suffer...nobody's fault but their own. Nope Ford isnn't paying for your BS ..don't blame them. Cry all you want.
