Default Blinker problem...

1997 F150, 4.2L.

My right front signal light doesn't work, rear flashes rapidly but bulb is good. But it works for 4-ways....if I put on 4-ways it will work, then shut off and turn back on, then they don't, vise versa. Also my wipers will come on on there own sometimes...is this the column switch that is the problem??
Thank you!

That is the combination switch. You can even spray electrical contact cleaner down around the hazard button and work them a few times and they'll work for awhile. The switch is easy to replace. You don't have to pull the steering wheel.

what about on a 2000 F150, it blows a fuse all the times I use it to turn right or left?
Or do I have to replace the switch?

thanks...

That's hard to say. Make a new post on this and we'll see what we can do.
