Black out the grille?

Default Black out the grille?

what do you guys think? i keep going back and forth.. mainly bc im not sure how to go about it and what kind to use..should i prime it?

I did this a while ago looks 10000x better just tape off around it with newspaper or just take it out and spray her down with some krylon, just make sure it's nice and clean, you shouldn't need to prime it, atleast I didn't and it's held up very well

My grille was the plastic one and it was that gray color that was fading. I cleaned it real well (rubbing alcohol, then dry, then windex (ammonia), then let it dry) and sprayed Krylon semi-flat black on it and it looks great after a year. No problems at all. I did the back trim around the rear window also, because it was faded to almost white and it still looks great.
